Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Plan B Aesthetics & Skincare

Reshape minor nasal imperfections for a more balanced profile

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that can reshape and enhance the appearance of the nose without the need for surgery. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, which involves incisions and the rearrangement of nasal tissues, non-surgical rhinoplasty involves the use of dermal fillers to add volume and shape to the nose. This procedure is ideal for individuals who are looking for minor changes to their nose, such as smoothing out bumps, lifting the tip, or improving symmetry. Non-surgical rhinoplasty can address a variety of concerns without the downtime and risks associated with surgery. It can help to correct minor cosmetic issues, such as a droopy or asymmetrical tip, a hump on the bridge of the nose, or a flat nasal bridge.

During your 30-60 minute non-surgical rhinoplasty consultation with Dr Rachel, you will find out how dermal fillers reshape and enhance the appearance of the nose, the potential risks and benefits, and whether or not you’d be a suitable candidate for the treatment given what you’re hoping to achieve regarding the appearance of your nose. It’s worth bearing in mind that this procedure cannot alter the size of your nose. Dr Rachel will look at your overall health, medical history, and expectations, as well as take photographs or measurements of your nose to aid in the planning process.

Frequently asked questions

The dermal fillers used in non-surgical rhinoplasty are typically made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body. These gel-like fillers work by adding volume beneath the skin, effectively reshaping the nose without surgery. When injected strategically, they can smooth bumps, lift the nasal tip, or correct asymmetries. The filler integrates with the surrounding tissue, providing immediate and long-lasting results.

Fillers can be injected into specific areas of the nose to address concerns such as a dorsal hump, asymmetry, or a drooping tip. By strategically placing them into targeted areas, Dr Rachel can alter the shape of your nose, achieving a more balanced and harmonious facial appearance.

Before a dermal fillers treatment, a topical anaesthetic numbing cream may be applied to reduce any potential pain. However, most patients don’t need it. That’s how minimal the discomfort is.

As soon as the filler is injected into your nose, you will notice a change in its shape and appearance. However, swelling and bruising, which are common side effects of the procedure, may take a few days to subside. Once the swelling has gone down, you will be able to fully appreciate the outcome of your treatment.

The results can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Over time, your body will gradually break down the filler, causing the effects to diminish. To maintain the desired results for longer, touch-up treatments will be required. Dr Rachel will be able to offer you more specific timelines and advice when you visit her for your initial consultation.

Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area for at least 24 hours. This will allow the dermal filler to settle and minimise the risk of displacement. Dr Rachel will also recommend you avoid strenuous activities, exercise, saunas and hot baths for the first 48 hours. Additionally, it is important you avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen when going out. You will be advised to make an appointment after a couple of weeks so that Dr Rachel can check you have received optimal results.
